The committee's chief task would be to organise light refreshments for the new-format monthly Eucharistic Cenacle. The next Cenacle takes place on First Friday, May 2.  The work would involve a few hours per month per event.  Training will be provided.  Other parish events may also become the Social Committee's responsibility.  If interested, please email the parish to ottawaholyrosary@gmail.com with subject line "Attention Ministry Co-ordinator - Social Committee" to express interest.

For the use of the new technologies.  Let us pray that the use of the new technologies will not replace human relationships, will respect the dignity of the person, and will help us face the crises of our times

New format! 7:00 pm to 9:00 p.m. on the first Friday of the month. The first hour of the Cenacle will take place in the parish hall in the context of a round-table, faith sharing meeting. A short, informal presentation by Deacon Mathew on aspects of the Eucharist as source and summit of the Christian life will precede a longer opportunity for participants to share their own reflections. Enjoy the time together with complimentary refreshments! For the second hour, participants are invited to spend time in Eucharistic Adoration in the church.
