Circle of Friends Free Clothing Giveaway

Circle of Friends at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church are hosting their free clothing giveaway.  Saturday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm at 1153 Wellington St. in the driveway.  There will be clothing, household items, toys, children's items.  Face painting for the kids.  Our friends @Free Transit Ottawa will have an information table.  Neighbours from @Hintonburg and Mechanicsville are always welcome.  No sellers please.

Gardners and Enthusiasts

With the arrival of trees, shrubs and plants this week for the Holy Rosary Gardens a spring edition of a Seeds of Hope day has been organized.  The event is run by the Community Garden at 1153 Wellington St. W. (not-for-profit).  Looking for 8-10 volunteers between 9:00am - 10:30 am and 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm.

Tasks :  planting trees, shrubs and perennial flowers.

No experience is needed! All help is appreciated: ie. watering and general weeding where planting.

Meeting place:  Driveway - 1153 Wellington St. West. (next to the RBC).  Dennis and Andrea (wearing hats) will greet volunteers at start times.  Support will be provided.  This event is to build community, continue creating a beautiful space and to have fun doing it.  Hope to see you at either time slot.  Dennis and Andrea

Mark your Calendars: Fr Francis will celebrate last Mass on June 21.  Father would like to celebrate with all of us, including the Cameroon community.  There will be a reception following our Sunday Mass.

Help Us Reach the Finish Line

June 21, 2026

Special Collection Sunday, June 21st to help us reach the Finish line.  More than $1 million of our Archdiocese’s $1.2 million Indigenous Reconciliation Fund pledge has been raised.  Funds supported many projects, including the Ottawa Children and Youth Pow Wow and an exchange with Cree students from Northwest Territories.  Parishes across our Archdiocese are holding a special collection on National Indigenous Peoples day.  Learn more or donate online at journeyforhealing.ca.
