LEADERSHIP
“Give a shepherd's care to the flock of God that is entrusted to you: watch over it, not simply as a duty but gladly, as God wants.” - 1 Peter 5:2
Our parish is guided by our Pastor, our Deacon, and a team of hard-working volunteers.
Fr. Gilbert Fuka Akoni
Pastor
Archbishop Damphousse appointed Father Gilbert as our parish Administrator in August 2026.
Rev. Mr. Mathew N. Mathew
Permanent Deacon
I was pleased Archbishop Prendergast re-assigned me, effective August 2021, as the deacon at Queen of the Most Holy Parish Ottawa for another three-year term. I love being at Holy Rosary. I have developed wonderful friendships with all our pastors since 2015: Fr. Rick, Fr Dan, Fr Sean, and now Fr Francis and I really enjoy working with our amazing volunteers who are the lifeblood of our parish.
