Adaline’s Angel Tree – A Tradition of Giving

December 20, 2024

This Christmas, Holy Rosary Parish continues its 77-year tradition of helping those in need.  Our Angel Christmas Tree Giving Event, now renamed Adaline’s Angel Tree in memory of Deacon Matthew’s granddaughter, Adaline Marie Ramessar, offers several ways to spread joy in our community.

We are sponsoring two hampers for families through the Caring and Sharing Exchange (CSE). They coordinate with over 200 local agencies to distribute Christmas assistance equitably.

To participate, take a tag from the tree describing an item needed, such as food, clothing, toys, or gifts.  Return unwrapped items to the hamper box near the tree by December 20.  Perishable donations such as turkeys can be placed in the parish freezer downstairs.

Pray for the families receiving these gifts, and consider including a Christmas card.  Monetary contributions will go to St. Vincent de Paul and non-food items may be shared with Matthew House.  Together, let’s bring joy and comfort to those in need this season.
